Data Deletion

We respect your right to control your data. This page explains the different ways you can remove your information from Dopla.

Option 1 — Disconnect your Meta account

This stops Dopla from accessing your Facebook and Instagram data, but keeps your Dopla account active.

  1. Sign in at ig.dopla.app/login
  2. Go to your Connect page
  3. Click Disconnect

What happens immediately:

  • Your Meta access token is deleted from our database
  • The list of your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts is deleted
  • We stop being able to publish on your behalf

Posts you previously published remain on Facebook and Instagram. To delete those, you must do so directly on the respective platforms.

Option 2 — Revoke access from Facebook

You can also revoke Dopla's access from Facebook's side at any time:

  1. Go to Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations
  2. Find Dopla in the list
  3. Click Remove

When you do this, Facebook notifies us via a deauthorization callback and we delete your access token, page list, and Instagram account information from our database within 24 hours.

Option 3 — Delete your entire Dopla account

This permanently removes all data we have about you, including:

  • Your account (email, password hash)
  • Your Meta connection (access token, pages, Instagram accounts)
  • All media files you uploaded to Dopla
  • Your publishing history within Dopla

To request full account deletion, send an email to privacy@dopla.app from the email address associated with your Dopla account, with the subject line Account deletion request.

We will:

  • Confirm receipt within 2 business days
  • Permanently delete all your data within 30 days
  • Send you a confirmation when deletion is complete

Data we cannot delete

The following data may persist for legal or operational reasons, in compliance with our Privacy Policy:

  • Anonymized server logs (up to 90 days, then auto-purged)
  • Records required by law (for example, financial records, if any)

None of this residual data is personally identifiable once your account is deleted.
